Production Facilities

Lofoten Seafood has local roots and breeder salmons in sites which are located just minutes from its modern production plant.

This exclude transportation of the salmons which is fundamentally for the quality of the fish. This important factor makes the salmons manage to retain its perfect texture and exquisite taste.

Lofoten Seafood is producing fresh cod, stockfish and salted fish when the Cod (Gadus morhua) is delivered on the docs by the fishing boats from Feburary - April.
The plant has a perfect position short distance from the fishing areas which makes it possible to produce different products of high quality.
